On my way (“Elle s’en va” in French) is a movie from Emmanuelle Bercot, starring Catherine Deneuve as Bettie, the main character. Around this strong female character, other great roles such as her grandson Charly (Nemo Schiffman) or her daughter Muriel (played by the French singer Camille). The story is made to create a road trip movie. Bettie, in her sixties, discovers that her lover has decided to marry a younger woman. To calm herself down, she decides to take the car to go buy cigarets around the block… A short trip that will evolve into a real journey, taking her from Brittany to Auvergnes and Savoie. This trip will be for her the occasion to take up with her past. And create new connexions with her grandson, who will become her travelling companion.

This movie is really a hymn to France… and to Catherine Deneuve who embodies here a touching role. Do not hesitate to go and watch it and to send us your feedback.
