At the crossroads of two major axes: Zurich-Paris and Rhin-Rhône, Mulhouse might seem an uninteresting stopover. A few hours are enough to visit the old town centre which reveals some fine monuments. However, the richness of Mulhouse lies in particular within its world-class museums: Mulhouse ranks 8th of all French cities for the most frequently visited museums.
