Pierre

Last Updated: 29 January 2024

Welcome to the 'Lourmarin Guided Walk', an enchanting chapter from our last journey through Provence! During a memorable 40-day stay in Bonnieux, our lovely home base, I explored this other picturesque village under the warm, gentle embrace of the early autumn sun.

As the Provençal landscape basked in a serene, sunny glow, I meandered through the charming streets of Lourmarin, capturing its vibrant beauty and hidden treasures with my camera.

This video marks the second of a series where I unveil the wonders of Provence's villages.

Join me on this delightful escapade, starting in the inviting ambience of Lourmarin, where every alley and local heritage is a story waiting to be told.

If you're dreaming of a Provençal adventure or just a peek into its charming villages, this guided walk is your perfect starting point.

Stay tuned for more, but for now, let's indulge in the warm and sunny allure of Lourmarin in early October.

Watch the Lourmarin Guided Walk Video

I'm thrilled to share with you the second installment of my series of filmed walks through the enchanting villages of the Luberon in Provence.

In this particular video showcasing the picturesque village of Lourmarin, I've chosen to take a different approach compared to similar videos on YouTube. I've enriched the walk with commentary in English, providing historical and cultural insights as we explore the village. This added layer of narration aims to deepen your understanding and appreciation of Lourmarin's rich heritage.

I understand that my French accent might be unfamiliar to some viewers, and to help you catch every historical date and name of the places mentioned, I've included subtitles with the full script!

Filmed in stunning 4K quality, the video offers an immersive and vivid portrayal of Lourmarin, from the tourist office at the village's entrance to the Castellas belfry at its summit.

Enjoy this immersive walk and stay tuned for more videos from my Luberon village series!

👉 My advice: watch this video directly on YouTube so that you can access the subtitles and choose the best display resolution! 😉
