My review of the FlexiSpot XC6 Recliner Chair is now live!
And what a great recliner chair this is.
I already had a very good experience with other products from FlexiSpot (all our reviews here) but what I'm about to review for you really impressed me... and my friends/family members.

Receiving and Assembling the Chair
The parts are packaged separately, so I received two boxes by mail.
The chair arrives in two large boxes, each weighing over 15kg.
Although I managed to manoeuvre them myself, trust me, you'll definitely appreciate having a helping hand..
The recliner chair shipped quickly, and - as usual with FlexiSpot's products - packaging was very high quality.
The parts were pre-assembled already, so it was easy to assemble.
When I saw the big cardboard box in the hallway, I thought it would take me a couple of hours to put the chair together.
I’ve become quite the pro at assembling Ikea-style furniture, but honestly, I wasn’t in the mood to play handyman that day!
To my surprise, the recliner chair was incredibly easy to assemble.
The assembly was straightforward, taking about 30 minutes to put together.
The parts are a bit bulky, but manageable.
All the necessary Allen key and screws for the leg rest are included, so you'll only need scissors to cut throught the packaging.
The most time-consuming part was attaching the leg rest—it took me a good 15 minutes to secure the screws because of the awkward angle.
This was the trickiest part of the assembly for me.
The instructions weren't very clear, especially the illustrations.
If you're unsure about which holes to use for the screws, here's a more detailed photo I took during the assembly that should help guide you.
As I mentioned earlier, I assembled it on my own, but let me tell you, the recliner chair is quite heavy.
You might want to have someone help you when it comes to turning or moving the structure around.

We opted for the beige because it blends better with the tones of our living room, giving it a stylish look while maintaining a modern touch.
Now, let's go through a number of features that stand out!
The Leg-Rest Mechanism
The Recliner Chair comes with two leg-rest mechanism options: manual (XC6 model) or electric (XR6 model).
I choose the manual leg-rest mechanism for two main reasons:
- Flexibility: No need for an electrical outlet, so I can place the chair anywhere in the room.
- Reliability: Fewer electronic parts mean less chance of malfunction.
However, the electric option does include a USB charging port, which can be convenient.
Also, if you prefer the electric version (model XR6), the available colours are Moss Green or Light Grey.
To pop out the leg-rest mechanism of the XC6, just pull the recliner switch (black handle on the right side).
When you extend the leg rest, the chair reclines up to 145°, ideal for reading or a quick nap.
A Word about the Cushions
The cushions are filled with high-quality foam that offers excellent ergonomic support, no matter how you sit.
The stitching is impeccable—no loose threads or lumps, just a smooth, well-finished surface.
The wide, padded armrests are a nice touch, providing extra comfort for your arms and shoulders.
My wife even found enough space to cross her legs comfortably, with room for our daughter to snuggle up next to her.
A Hidden Storage Space
One of the chair's clever features is a concealed storage space on the left side.
It’s small and shallow, but perfect for keeping the area around the chair tidy.
It’s so well concealed that you’d hardly notice it’s there. In fact, it's perfect for storing TV remotes, magazines... and hiding a few chocolates away from prying eyes!
Swivel & Rock Delight
The chair swivels a full 360°, and the motion is silky smooth.
However, you'll need plenty of space to rotate it fully.
Once the leg rest is extended, the chair is designed not to swivel.
There’s also a gentle back-and-forth rocking mechanism, which my daughter absolutely adore.
As Comfortable as Sitting in a Lotus!
Did you know the XC6 series from Flexispot is named "Lotus"?
The name comes from the way the chair unfolds, much like the petals of a lotus flower.
When you sit in it, you feel as though you're cradled comfortably within the embrace of a lotus.
When my family came over to try it out, they said it felt like sitting in a marshmallow—so soft and comfortable that you could easily sink into it and forget about everything else!

In terms of size, the chair measures approximately 101 cm by 98 cm by 107 cm when upright, and 162 cm by 98 cm by 79 cm when fully reclined.
