  • Christmas Jazz in France: A Photographic and Musical Journey

Last Updated: 23 December 2023

Every year I think of a way to thank my readers and wish them a Merry Christmas. In 2023, let's enter the world of Christmas Jazz in France!

Christmas Jazz in France!

After creating ebooks in previous years, I have chosen to do something different for Christmas 2022.

I had the idea of producing a musical and photographic journey from Paris to the Eastern regions of France.

I selected my best photos to create a 35-minute video that immersed you in the Christmas atmosphere. ⤵

The 2023 Christmas music video

Considering how successful that project was, I decided to repeat the experience for Christmas 2023.

The 2023 music video is a photographic journey that takes you from Paris to Lorraine via Alsace and Savoie.

I've selected my best photos to create an hour-long video that will immerse you in the magical atmosphere of Christmas.

You'll discover shots taken during the nights of December in cities such as the City of Lights, Nancy, Metz, Strasbourg, Colmar, Mulhouse, Montbéliard and Annecy, as well as in some charming villages such as Riquewihr, Kaysersberg and Eguisheim. ⤵

I hope you enjoy my (amateur) video and that it brings you moments of peace and happiness.

I wish you a merry Christmas, and I look forward to writing to you after Christmas!

Joyeux Noël! Merry Christmas!

  1. Dear Pierre,
Thank you so much for this video of music and pictures of France at Christmas time. I was supposed to be there this year, hopefully in Alsace but unfortunately I had a small cancer and had to cancel the trip. I love France and enjoy your blogs and hope to be there next year. I’m in my 80’s now but when I was young I biked all over Europe with a German friend. I also had a friend in Corsier (part of Geneva) and visited often. Please don’t stop blogging!!! I am sending this to a friend who lived in Strasbourg when she was in school but who is unable to travel now. Thank you again.
