A week learning French in Noosa

This week, our French native teachers Agathe and Pierre are running a French intensive course in Noosa on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Australia.

The French Moments course is taking place at the Sebel Resort Noosa on Hastings Street, a stone’s throw from the beach. The elegant Accor resort with its peaceful surrounds in the heart of cosmopolitan Noosa. Our ‘French’ base for the week is surrounded by up-market fashion boutiques, world-class restaurants and just across the road from Noosa Main Beach. The street and its surroundings have many award winning restaurants and its warm climate and stunning scenery make it an ideal location. It has become a popular holiday retreat for those wanting to soak up some sun and rest and is easy to get to.

The French course includes 15 hours of French lessons over 5 days (Mon – Fri) from 9am to 12.30pm., a morning tea and a lunch in an iconic restaurant on the last day. The emphasis of the course is on conversation but it is worked around a structured programme which includes some grammar, new vocabulary and cultural themes.

French Moments is very strong on teaching the culture alongside the language so we weave this through all the classes. The atmosphere is fun but focussed and students walk away having had the chance to practice their French, develop new skills and gain confidence.

The theme of the Noosa course is based on “Sea holidays in France” with the discovery of the French coastline: the harbour cities of Cherbourg, Le Havre, Brest, Toulon, the French Riviera and St. Tropez, the Languedoc coast, and more! Here is a selection of photos our of two first days in Noosa!
